It is not necesary to add a Zope user at all, if this is what you need
to do to get it to work, then that's a bug.

I'm still working on getting NotMail functional for 2.0, then I wash my
hands of it.  I realize I'm lagging behind my promised date... sigh...
It would be *really* cool if someone could do this for me, then I can
spend more time on the Portal TK.
