I thoroughly agree with this idea.  eg: I've just started on Zope, and I
spent *ages* figuring out the correct way to invoke a DTML method with
arguments to produce a rollover method.  More examples would have helped
a lot.

Another point, however, is that the examples must be maintained and
consistent.  By which I mean that the default /QuickStart stuff has
references to a lot of things which aren't named like that anymore
(Aqueduct, f'rinstance).  This is confusing to beginners.

However, this is getting away from what is needed on the web site.  For
that, something like a "what can I do with Zope?" section would be good.
Perhaps, showing something like the database examples from the quick
start (database integration always impresses people :).  The idea should
be, however not just to show people what Zope can do, but to give them
a brief idea of how to *think Zope*, which might well be quite different
to what they are used to.
