[Zope] Backup / redundancy: Is data.fs enough ?

Hi there,
Suppose I have Zope properly installed on 2,
not necessarily the same, servers. Say a RedHat
on an i386 and an NT box.
My goals are two:
1) to be able to backup my site regularly and
easily and
2) to have one of them as a main server and
the other as a redundancy server. So if the
Redhat fails / crashes / gets hacked / whatever
I want the NT box (or another Redhat, it doesn't matter)
to serve exactly the same content.
Will it be enough to keep the data.fs file and transfer
it between the machines ? I thought that maybe this can't
be done if the machines / OSes are different. Is this the case ?
