[Zope] zcatalog from external method ?

hiyah zopistas !

For our intranet we have implemented a tweaked version of
fsimport.py, to import files that the content-people have
made in their wysiwyg-editors. The files (DTML-documents
mainly)  are imported nicely enough, but they are not
indexed in the Zcatalog.
My python-skills are still a bit below par, and i cannot
figure out how to add the equivalent of
<dtml-call reindex_object> in an external method..

anyone out there with a quick solution ??
