I've done it and its pretty simple.  What are your questions?

More or less:

  Install ZMySQLDA
  Restart Zope.
  Create a DB connection object for your MySQL DB
  Create ZSQL queries as per the guide
  Use <dtml-in ZSQL-query> to process
