Hi.
I try to follow Alans kind instruction on
http://www.zope.org/Members/alanpog/zmysqlda_steps
I downloaded the source of everything. I used the source release of
MySQL-3.22.25, because I ran into compile problems with newer versions.
After configuring and making python I do a "make install" on the python
source and after a while get following error:
./python /usr/local/lib/python1.5/compileall.py /usr/local/lib/python1.5
./python: error in loading shared libraries: libmysqlclient.so.6: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory
make: *** [libinstall] Error 127
What is the special problem here? Can you help me? What version of MySQL are
you using?
I have to run the latest MySQL-3.22.30 on my machine. Is that conflicting
here? (I changed the path in Python-1.5.2/Modules/Setup to point to the
3.22.25 distributions mysql lib&include files....!)
