 - Zopistas are fun people. Really.

 - On the average, size of laptop/PDA is inversely proportional to hair
   length.

 - DC would be the first company to go down in history, where employees
   pay the company to let them work.

 - IPC9 will be IZC1 with a python track.

 - Eric Raymond should give up, or even better offer his self assigned
   role to Paul Everitt.

 - Anybody on this list who is over 30 and has never heard of Alice should
   be sad. 
 
 - Rollercoaster effects can be simulated in a conference by
   scheduling Jim Fulton's acquisition algebra talk before Randy
   Pausch's Alice talk.

 - StructuredText should become part of the standard python distribution.

 - Taking a mechanical camera at an IPC conference is *not* a good idea.  
   And make sure you take along a Palm Pilot so you can beam things
   around. If you do need to write a phone number or an email address on
   paper, make sure you hide well while doing it.
