The ZODB uses a "pluggable" Storage-derived object to do the actual reads/writes
(this is where Ty Sarna's BSDDB Storage gets plugged in). The "standard"
Storage is the FileStorage, defined in
$ZOPE_HOME/lib/python/ZODB/FileStorage.py.
