[Zope] How do I get the owner of a document?

I may be misunderstanding your question, but if your user is authenticated
you can use a construction like:
 <dtml-in expr="objectValues(['DTML Document', 'File'])"
sort=bobobase_modification_time reverse>
    <dtml-if "AUTHENTICATED_USER.has_role('Owner', this())">
     <A HREF="<dtml-var id>"><dtml-var title></A>
    <dtml-else>
     <dtml-var title>
    </dtml-if>
 </dtml-in>
