[Zope] Bulk loading stuff into Zope

Warning: Zope newbie alert :-)

The CEO at the place I'm gigging at the moment wants to be able to Cc:
a portal with his email pontifications and then have commentary on his
thoughts. 

Would someone be so kind as to give me some ideas as to where to start
doing this with Zope? A slight variation on this is pre-loading a pile
of stuff that's already on disk.
