Apparently, your database does not send the OID as a hexadecimal
string but as a binary string.
You could convert the binary string into a hexadecimal string
in an External Method:

def convertBinaryToHexString(binstring):
return join(map(lambda c: '%x' % ord(c), binstring), '')
