[Zope] attach and debug a running zope?

I'm trying to track down a nasty data-corrupting hang, and would love to
get stack traces from the zope.

I've tried A Very Cool Trick[1] from Barry, but I haven't been able to
get it to work.  Any solutions out there to get stack traces from a
stuck zope?
