[Zope] PANIC(300) z2 Startup exception

Hi,
tonight I did (as usual)
./stop && cvs up &&  ./start -D

Now zserver is telling me again and again:

The first error (Couldn't load state) occurred already in former times,
the server started however nevertheless problem-free. Does someone know
how I can start the server without deleting my ZODB?
