Actually, what I need is a product to allow the application of open-source-like
methodologies to software, documents, hardware, artwork, and other various
types
of projects. My site isn't going to be just a software site, but will
encompass all sorts of different things.

Well, I've got CMF 1.0 and Squishdot installed, so that covers users (although
not the way I'd like it, unless I misunderstand CMF, which is very possible)
and news/discussion. Now I need project tracking with uploads/downloads,
a "jobs available" board and a "I'm available for work" board (again, just
like sourceforge.net). That would get me started. I'm sure I'll add lots of
other stuff later, but these are the things I need. It's tempting to install
the SourceForge code, but I don't like that idea; it has Perl in it. :-P
Besides, so far, the site is completely Zope-driven; I'd like to keep it that
way.

BTW, this is for a non-profit organization. If anyone is working or has worked
on something like this, I'd love to talk or maybe I could convince you
to do some volunteer work. Drop me an e-mail at basil_arrick@yahoo.com .

I volunteer our organization's site as a live testbed for this product once it
is in beta testing. We should hopefully get a decent amount of traffic.

Thanks for the help.
