It is possible to use windows explorer as an ftp client.

1) Goto Tools, View Options
2) In the view tab, check 'on' Display full path in title bar
3) Ok

4) You use the ftp syntax in the path bar in the top of the screen now
using:

ftp://username:password@server/directory/file

etc....

But beware.... MS Explorer caches the paths used in the bar, thus your
username and password are cached in simple files. My suggestion is get a
real client and use that... There are so many for free that it doesn't
make sense to use explorer.

There are tools (not Zope related) that allow you to map
FTP sites into your local file system.
Your Windows tools (including Explorer) can then work with them
as if they were local files.

Search the mailing list archives for such tools.
