[Zope] CVS/VSS - how are others doing it?

Ah... My creaky mind is barely coming up with the memory of this on the list
in the Spring time?  

So the idea is to keep skins on the file system, and you can then do check
in/out from there.  So all of your "code" is kept within skins?  But what
about using custom files like header and footers for a specific section of
the site?  Also, I have used properties of folders in the site to handle
'variables'.  What are the best practices in that case?

This is one of the issues the skins tool in the CMF was designed to address.

Maybe Shane could russle up a standaloen version for you DTML/PythonScripts?
