[Zope] Anyone know how to hack up the zope ftp server?

So I found out when accessing files thru the zope ftp server that it FIRST 
copies it to a temporary directory with a temporary file name.

The filename of what you are getting is totally lost and that is why emacs 
is clueless.

So anyone know how to configure/hack the zope ftp server so it at least 
retains the filename or at least the file extension?
