[Zope] Questions on XML Document Product

Hi,

Here are my questions:

1. How XML Document Object handle the storage, in a big chunk 
   of string property and make a virtual Zope object tree, or
   actually break it into a collection of real Zope objects?

2. How does it fare with large XML document, say 1 Meg? Will
   it stand well to frequent modifications? Is it an economical
   solution for the cases that only parts of the big document
   are needed at a time?
