there's a bug in changeOwnership which I've already reported both in the
collector and in zope-dev, without luck it seems.

the owner is incorrectly set when used recursively if you already own the 
root of the subtree.

could this be the same bug ?

I don't know at all if this is the case, but if yes then here's the
solution:  
	
	remove line 171 in AccessControl/Owned.py in Zope 2.3.2

and restart Zope.
