FYI:

I just upgraded to the latest ZPatterns, removed
'expr_globals,' from the last line of
ZPatterns/Expressions.py and added a dummy
access-file to my Zope-homedirectory. Now
LoginManager seems to be working with Zope 2.4.0b3.
