[Zope] Is ZEO working?

Hello I am trying to run Zope and ZEO on the same server, but I am unsure if
it is working correctly.

I have followed the http://www.zope.org/Members/michel/ZB/ZEO.html setup
instructions

but get an error when I type:

$ python z2.py -D -E var/zeo.soc

Error:
getopt.GetoptError: option -E not recognized

but if I type

$ python z2.py -D -F var/zeo.soc

then I get this as my output

Am I missing something, and how do I check if ZEO is working from the
localhost.
