[Zope] User properties in DB with LoginManager?

Is there a straightforward way of implementing this? I'd like to be able
to set/get properties for a user in the database (PostgreSQL), much as
exUserFolder does. I'm a bit overwhelmed by the numerous components to
the LoginManager (or ZPatterns, I suppose), and I get the feeling that
there is something in there that does this, but I'm at a loss as to
where to begin.
