[Zope] using SSL (Apache) + Zope only in manage-mode

to all the zope-gurus out there,

it is no problem for me, getting Zope and Apache with mod_ssl working
together via ProxyPass. A good HowTo allready exists
(http://www.zope.org/Members/unfo/apache_zserver_ssl).
But with this method (ProxyPass and SiteRoot) you can only protect
subtree with SSL.

Has anyone allready a solution how to protect the hole zope tree but
only in manage-mode.
One can filter out *manage-URLs* with the rewrite-module on the Apache
side, but how to transfer links inside Zope?
