Hi,
As for creating a mount point, probably not any easier way in a
non-FileStorage storage.
The second question I don't know much about because I haven't used exmount.
But this sounds about right I guess.
BerkeleyStorage won't help with conflict errors (you will get the same as
under filestorage). It only prevents database growth in comparison with
filestorage.
Hopefully soon I am going to try to get a new coresessiontracking release
out. I am not working next week, but hopefully sometime in the next couple
weeks.

Subject: [Zope] externalmount & zeo voodoo
hi.
request for enlightenment ;) (or some zen)
is there any other way of creating the mount point for an ExternalMount,
apart from the python incantation mentioned in Randy's ZEO-Session How-To?
also, say i have a few ZEO Clients, all in different machines. i assume i
just mount the External Mount on one ZC, and have the External Method
available in all ZCs. pls correct me if i'm wrong
if i the use Berkeley storage for the External Mount, i will not get
Conflict
Error, competing writes anyloonger .. right?
dazed and confused
thanks
