Thanks for the pointer!

Your book definitly helps understanding what is going on and i wasn't
aware it existed before. The Name lookup section was enlightening but
it doesn't expand on using getitem to pass parameters.

I added a page to zwiki.org with references i found useful and the 
code snippet that solved my problem. Maybe some of the stuff mentioned
there could be merged, expanded, refactored and added to yours and/or the 
official Zope Book.
