[Zope] FTP hangage

I'm running Zope 2.3.3 under Python 1.5.2 on a RH Linux 6.2 box, and all has
been well up to this point.

I did some heavy work several months ago, with full FTP access working from
Emacs, and then stopped until just now.

Now, I can log in with Emacs and with an FTP client (all from W2K), but
listing the top-level folder hangs forever.

I restarted Zope with no success.

Any ideas on where to start looking? Any advice greatly appreciated.
