[Zope] installing a .diff file

Hi all,

Can anybody please point me in the direction of instructions for applying a
.diff patch?

I have a couple of plugins I want to have a play with but they need these
patches to run, and since I've been bashing my head against this one for the
past week or so, I thought it was time to ask for help!

Any suggestions gratefully received!
