Yes, I noticed that after posting the question. Doh!

Unfortunately, when I look at the edit tab of one of the old Photo instances
it says "No value for image_engines ." next to the Engine property.

If I try to "Regenerate all" I get the following:

Error Type: AttributeError
Error Value: 'None' object has no attribute 'getProperty'

The old PIL-generated images still display, but something seems wrong here.
