[Zope] HELP! Trying to download a 8 MB file from zope - nothing happens.

Hi all,

I am now really confused and need help. I have a 8 megabyte file in a
Zope on a Linux box. Zope sits behind Apache and has a reasonable
timeout and size limits to allow the transfer. But when I try to
download the file from zope, something strange happens.

Zope starts to hog processor power and memory, but nothing happens. Even
logfiles are empty. Please give me a hand if you can.
