[Zope] vim and Zope

I want to edit Python Scripts and DTML methods with vim. The only way I 
found to work is to start vim, and on the vim command line enter this:

Nread "ftp://localhost 7021/index_html"

This download the file to vim, but at the top there's this text:

"WARNING! 87 bare linefeeds received in ASCII mode"

... and on the bottom there's this:

"File may not have transferred correctly."

Can I get rid of these? I'm using vim 6.0z ALPHA. netrw.vim is version 2.10
