Usually, it works....
But your description is not very clear. Therefore, I cannot tell you
what is wrong.
Did you read "Calling DTML objects" in
<http://www.dieter.handshake.de/pyprojects/zope/book/chap3.html>
Do it. And when the problem persists come back with a clearer description.
