We do the same.

We have zpt "fragments" or snippets as I call them, and do stuff like < =
div tal:replace=3D"here/snippet" >< / div >

The snippet usually contains a whole < table > element or something and =
nothing more.

It allows me to edit/replace/replicate (like a news snippet) sections of =
pages without mucking with the whole page.
