ZEO is one way.

Or you can "mount" a ZODB database inside another using products
like MountedFileStorage, MountedClientStorage or Shane's
ExternalMount product.  There are some caveats to this including
that you cannot cut and paste objects between databases.

Andy McKay's ZSyncer is another way.
