[Zope] tracebacks vanished

I have upgraded to 2.6 on redhat and now I cant seem to get tracebacks to
display.

I managed to get the EVENT_LOG_FILE working. but it makes no difference if I
use the -D frag on the z2.py file or not. In both cases I no longer see any
tracebacks of errors.

Any hints appreciated.
