yes, exactly. Up to this point I've never thought about the names of
[sub-superclass] propertysheets after I'd followed the tutorials in the Zope
Book.

In what property sheet have you defined "site_url"?

If the name of this property sheet is "PS", then you
change it with

      instance.propertysheets.PS.manage_change/editProperties(...)
