It's true for me too=20
that the account setting during installation makes no sense.
Try:
1.change directory to the installation path of zope
2.and run the script "zpasswd.py" by python:
for example: c:program files\website> bin/python zpasswd.py
you will get a page of help (pipe to "more" if necessary)=20
which will indicate what to do of the next steps.
The target is to produce a file named "access" in your zope home =
directory.
Hope it helps
Iap, Singuan

Subject: [Zope] no password
Sorry if this question was already answered before but I couldn't find =
it. I just downloaded Zope 2.5.0 and installed in my computer. I created =
a user and a password during the installation process. When I access =
Zope for the first time it simply doesn't accept the password I have =
just created. I tried to reinstall but the same thing happens. I read in =
the site that you can change it using the password script but I know =
nothing about Python. So if anyone could help me.
=20
Thanks,
Marcelo
