[Zope] Need to backup

Hi there!
I need to make a backup of some files in the Linux filesystem that I got the Zope Running. After get those files together in a tar file, I want to let that file avelable for download in a site in Zope. How would I make a path, through Zope, to reach this file in the filesystem?
Note that I don't want to import that file to ZODB. (That would make my Data.fs huge, and one of the files in the backup is Data.fs)
