manage a directory of businesses for a local chamber of commerce (read this
as very little $$$ to spend).
Want it to be somewhat self managing (create a listing and manage a listing
by the businesses themselves using a predefined format) but retaining the
review and publish rights for manager of the site. Basic listing is no
cost, but upgraded listings (extended information, link to another web site,
inclusion of logos, etc.) would have a cost. Other functions required:
category, location, and other criteria based searches, potentially include
banner ads, email integration for information requests.
Site could just use ZODB since the number of listings should be under 1000,
but might grow to 5000. I suppose Gadfly or MySQL could be used if this
seems large for ZODB.
I was thinking about Formulator, Metapublisher, CMF, etc. but was not sure
the best route to go.
Thoughts?
Thanks in advance,
