[Zope] Zcatalog result as sorted list

I would like to emulate the library OPAC search function with Zcatalog :

The search operation will be performed as a sort operation on the related
key, and the result page with the best result in the middle of the page, the
user have the oppunity to browse the result in context (some not satisfy the
search critera) and can do prev page next page to continue browsing.

Is it possible to do this with Zcatalog? If it is possible, can somebody
give an example?
