Use ZEO.  Then Zope itself doesn't need to build a FileStorage index
before it starts up.  Alternately, use Zope 2.6 (or the Zope HEAD)
which shuts ZODB down cleanly, which writes the index to disk so the
next time it starts up it's quicker.
