Yes,

you can  create your index as "PrincipiaSearchSource" then the Document
 instances will be converted by the converters of DocumentLibrary and TXNG
 will indexes the raw text.

You might get problems if you would like to use the converters of TXNG.

Don't know what you exactly mean. Please file a detailed bug report
to the TXNG tracker on Sourceforge.
