[Zope] Correction : Core Session Tracking Usage Question

I call data.clear() at the bottom of any page where I use the session vars.
data.clear() works but only when the page on which it is called is 
reloaded. If I follow a link to another page the session variables 
remain, whereas clear should have been called when zope reached it 
(<dtml-call "data.clear()">) during the publishing process.

Any idea why that happens?
