[Zope] Property of long goes wrong?

Hi,  My both zope 2.5.0/Linux and 2.5.1b1/FreeBSD installation  are strange:
Say, setting a property A to be "long".
And assign 1234 to  A ,
After submition, it comes to be "123".

How does it mean?
