oops. The one I'm using doesn't have quotes around REQUEST:

<dtml-call "REQUEST.set('newname', ZopeTime().strftime('%m-%d-%Y-%H-%M'))">
<dtml-call "manage_addDTMLDocument(newname, 'Error', REQUEST)">
