[Zope] Calling ZSQL Method programatically

Hi all:
 I need a method returns more than 1000 tuples in a result, but I want
to change it programatically. I have modified the SQL.max_rows_ variable
to my value (1000000), and it works, but oddly this value returns to its
default value...

How I can change this behaviour?
