have a look at zpasswd.py in your Zope-Dir...

something like:

python zpasswd.py inituser

should do the magic...;-)

p.s.: have a look that ZOPE runs under Python2.1.3 and not under 
Python2.2! Python2.2 is not supported! SUSE is a really strange distro 
in this case...;-)
