Are you using the manage url, i.e.
http://donald.ucsf.edu:8080/manage
or
are you using
http://donald.ucsf.edu:8080/
or something else.

Again, it would be very helpful to know server platform, version of
zope, version of python, and browser.

Also, can you ping the machine?
