I suspect you did the installation of the adaptor (MySQLDA) with the 
wrong version of python.  You *must* use the python used by Zope for 
the paths and libraries to get set correctly.  Try to reinstall the 
adaptor using the python in $INSTANCEHOME/bin/python.
