Yes.  Message <mailman.1061639651.8745.clpa-moderators at python.org>
from Martijn Pieters on python-announce-list explains that the surge
of (junk) mail caused by SoBig.F overloaded the mail server for
python.org and zope.org.  Hence the lack of mail flow.
