Our company has developed several ivr applications using zope.  We are using
some low-cost hardware from an Australian manufacturer (voicetronix) on a
standard intel/linux box.  Our ivr application logic is implemented in C++
(to facilitate communication with the dsp drivers on the ivr cards).  We use
cURL to communicate with zope (http messaging).

All fairly straight forward - after several months of work :-)
